Description
The ARRI/Fujinon 45-250mm Alura Studio Zoom (Meters) is a long PL-mount lens that covers up to Super 35mm-sized camera sensors and is optimized for 16:9 format. The 45-250mm Alura features a fast T2.6 aperture throughout its zoom range and cine-style lens ergonomics.
The Alura zooms’ optical features include high resolution and contrast performance, a multi-layer coating to reduce flares and veiling, reduced chromatic aberration, and minimized breathing while focusing. A nine-bladed iris produces a rounded, natural-looking bokeh (out-of-focus highlights).
Focus, zoom, and iris barrels are geared in 0.8 mod pitch for interfacing with industry-standard lens accessories such as follow focus units and wireless F/I/Z controls. For easier focus pulling, large focus scales are placed on both sides of the lens barrel. Exchangeable front and rear elements are easily serviced and can potentially extend the life of your Alura.
