TORQ is NODO’s next-generation cinematic camera head, designed to combine the flexibility of a remote head, handheld gimbal, steadicam head, and fluid head in one modular system . Built around NODO’s MAX Inertia Motors™, it delivers digital mass, drag, and counterbalance in a compact 12 lb package, giving operators a highly adaptable tool for fast-moving camera setups .

Unlike traditional camera heads, TORQ mounts the camera directly to a thin, large-diameter roll motor with the lens rigidly nodal, then uses sliding dovetails for balance adjustments . This makes lens-change rebalancing fast and intuitive, requiring forward-and-back adjustment rather than a full rebuild . The design also gives the roll axis exceptional power density, helping the head maintain strong control and responsiveness during demanding moves .
